Katevas: Yiannis Katevas was born and raised in Northern Greece. He began his professional career at the young age of 16 as vocalist and lead guitarist of the pop group “The Beatniks”. Some time later in the Folk genre, Yiannis was mentored by the renowned composer Giorgos Mitsakis who ushered him threw the doors of the guarded music industry and wrote his first 2 songs for Columbia Records. Yiannis has always been “the complete artist”. Apart from singing he also plays guitar and has written the majority of the music in his recordings. He has performed in the major venues of Athens, Thessaloniki and the rest of Greece with overwhelming success. His domestic career can only be rivalled by his foreign popularity. Playing sell out shows all over America, Canada, Australia and Europe, all the while delighting audiences not only in Greek but also in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
